The Town owns designated park land on both sides of Stony Creek and with the installation of a prefabricated wooden bridge it allowed access to connect the parking lot, ballfields and restrooms into the existing recreational Dean Farm trail system. This design incorporates a prefabricated wooden bridge set on poured reinforced concrete abutments. The bridge is ADA compliant and is accessible with approach walkways consisting of compacted earth with a fine gravel topping, all held in place with large natural stone retaining walls. The wooden bridge with the natural stone was selected to fit within the natural beauty of the park.
